Our Fundraising Philosophy

Why Do
 We Fundraise?
Fundraising has always been an important part of our school…for a couple of reasons: 1. Due to the gap that exists between our tuition rates and the actual cost of educating each student and 2. As a means of community service to support other non-profit organizations. 
To further explain the gap between tuition rates and actual costs…This gap exists because we strive to maintain a level of affordability for all, while continuing to offer our children the best educational experience.  This gap fluctuates from year to year based on enrollment and operational costs.  We rely on the generosity of our parents, grandparents, alumni and business community to help bridge this gap through the support of our fundraising activities.

Beyond filling the gap in tuition, surpassing our fundraising budget for the year allows our school to provide further education enhancements that may not have planned on for the current school year.   
How you can Help!
We have a wide-range of fundraising programs to choose from throughout our school year!  We do not expect our school families and community to be involved in all of our programs; but we strive to provide a variety of activities to choose from.  We hope that you consider St. Catherine of Siena School for your charitable donations this year! 2016 – 2017 Development & Marketing Goals
  • Increase fundraising participation; “more hands make for lighter work”….the same can be applied to fundraising!!  Increase our participation by 10 – 5% over last year.
  • Implement and execute a more formal marketing plan for this school year to increase enrollment for the 2016 – 2017 school year.
